Such different surroundings in a small area, there are homes along the HWY but with high walls to protect from noise, although if you're not ok with that, plenty of homes away from it all in quite back streets on acreage or hills with beautiful views surrounded by trees, or even just a normal sized lot close to the shopping center, whatever you prefer.

Being right in the middle with easy access to either Brisbane and the Gold coast. Pretty quite and filled with a lot of families, young and old. I don't hear parties from where I am and aren't even disturbed by people walking past and we're right near a bus stop and main road. The neighbours aren't the borrowing sugar type unless you are and then they'll be one back , but usually more keeping to themselves. There might be one rev head that drives past quickly if you're near a main road , but otherwise you'll feel safe walking around with the kids, going to the parks or shops with a wide range of people living here and overall a lovely place.

I'm on small acreage of the most beautiful place money could buy but instead very affordable. With amazing Birdlife and wild life in my backyard and the convenience of the hyperdome that has just about every shop known to man in it less than 5 minutes drive or a 15 minute walk.

It is really a have- it -all sort of place. People here are incredibly friendly and helpful but not in your face at all. Every day feels like I'm on holiday, really special place. The people in this suburb are entirely blue-collar workers. If you go to the supermarket after work, you will never see a male dressed in office clothing coming from a job in the city as they simply do not exist.

Only the females will be dressed in office clothing as they come back from their administrative positions. There is no infrastructure at all out here. That includes buses the busway stops at springwood , restaurants, decent shopping centers, and so on. The hyperdome is an extremely poor shopping center. There are very few shops compared to places like Chermside and the food court is straight out of the 80s. The most popular restaurant is McDonalds.

You will hear a lot of swearing in normal conversation. That is the sound of the suburb. The entire area is completely dead. I wonder if a nuclear attack has occured because I am not even sure if anybody lives here.

You will never see anybody out on the street going for a walk. Any forms of exercises are generally discouraged in this area as most people are sitting at home watching Neighbours if they are a girl, or the footy if they are a guy.

The only form of exercise that is accepted is walking your dog. This is because it is not seen as exercise but rather a method of tiring out your maltreated and bored dog to stop it from barking all night. If you are seen walking without a dog, you will be looked at like an alien and people may catch on that you are not like them.
