There are also plenty of local buses in the area, notably the No. By car, Winchester is located off Junctions 9,10 and 11 of the M3 and is also accessible via the A34 from Newbury and Oxford. Running four days a week, Winchester Market is another popular find. At Christmas time the Cathedral Square also plays host to a festive market, food stalls and ice rink. For those who enjoy more active pursuits, get outside and explore the nearby South Downs National Park and the South Downs Way cycle trail, stretching all the way from Winchester to Eastbourne on the coast. Winchester City Mill is an institution in the area, paying homage to its rich heritage.
